Fractional Radio Frequency

In the field of non-invasive procedures for skin rejuvenation, radiofrequency has been much appreciated and integrated into several procedures to enhance the outcome. Fractional Radio Frequency microneedling is a non-invasive and non-surgical approach to treat skin for rejuvenation. This procedure targets skin resurfacing, allowing a more youthful appearance, done with minimal downtime. Moreover, RF devices help to provide cellulite improvement, skin tightening, acne scar treatment, enlarged pores, skin tightening, etc. The ability of radiofrequency to transfer thermal energy to prompt controlled tissue damage, allow restoring subsequent tissues on the treatment area.

Fractional Radio Frequency treats a number of concerns, such as:

The goal of this treatment is to treat the mentioned undesirable concerns of the face and body. Benefits include flexible treatments as treatment can be customized according to several skin conditions, it is very safe and effective, includes minimal downtime and reduced recovery time, and the slightest pain delivery.

Besides minimal risk and downtime, this procedure is extremely effective. Several studies prove that radiofrequency treatments didn’t yield hyaluronic acid filler disruption in past treatments. There is visible bruising after the treatment but is reduced within few days to a week after the treatment. Some side effects caused by Fractional Radio Frequency are “erythema, edema, bruising, pinpoint depression, paresthesias, nodules, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and blister.” according to The Dermatologist. These side effects are mostly short-term and rare. Although, patients with subcutaneous treatment for cellulite may experience post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It is highly recommended to consult with your doctor decide to treat with radiofrequency technology, as health, skin condition, age, etc. are huge deciding factors in aesthetic procedures.

The probe used to transfer radiofrequency uses tiny pins that deliver the desired energy in the area through the skin surface. This ends up creating tiny wounds that trigger the body’s natural healing process right away to form new, healthy tissue. During the treatment, patients can feel tiny pokes, along with a warm temperature exposure. This can be uncomfortable but not painful. Due to the heat, the skin may look red after the treatment. Doctors may use numbing creams pre-procedure to minimize pain reception and discomfort. The procedure itself takes about 20 to 45 minutes, depending on the treatment plan discussed prior. A series of three to four treatments can be done to achieve the best results.
