Molly Fisher, DPT, founder of a Pilates-yoga based Physical Therapy Program, holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. She has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals and rehabilitation and outpatient-based hand and orthopedic specialties.

Dr. Fisher is a certified Pilates instructor through Body Arts and Science International, a Pilates academy that takes a contemporary approach using current evidence based research. She is also a certified Spanda yoga instructor with a philosophy based on traditional Hatha yoga, asana, vinyasa, pranayama and relaxation techniques, which are used in treatment sessions. In addition, she has over 20 years of experience to draw on as a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor with teaching experience in spinning, aerobics, step, toning, and aquatics.

Dr. Fisher developed a Pilates-yoga based Physical Therapy Program focusing on a holistic, patient centered approach to healing founded on the natural kinetic movement of the body, mindfulness, and current evidence–based research in physical therapy. She has integrated her extensive background and experience in Pilates, yoga, fitness, and physical therapy in a unique way to treat the whole person. Her specialty is in orthopedic conditions such as fractures, sprains, low back pain, sciatica, herniated discs, and pre- and-post operative joint conditions.

Dr. Fisher continues her evidence-based research yearly, through courses in manual therapy by Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars (MAPS), and Pilates and yoga rehabilitation conferences. With her continued knowledge, she empowers and educates patients to take an active role in their recovery by learning to identify muscles and movement patterns that are limiting or dysfunctional and how to retrain them.

In her free time, Dr. Fisher can be found training for fitness competitions or powerlifting meets, spending time with friends and family, or traveling.
